Summertime - and poetry is going outside!
Join me for a reading at Piccolo Spoleto in Charleston, SC, on Tuesday, June 5 in the Dock Street Theater Courtyard.
Then I'm of to the NC Zoo for a week as Poet in Residence, June 25 - July 1. If you haven't been to the zoo lately, you're in for a treat.
The NC Zoo has a strong commitment to the conservation of the world's wildlife and wild places through the recognition of the interdependence of people and nature. (from the Zoo Mission Statement)
I'll be conducting a workshop for children age 7-14 and another for adults (age 15 and older), and a reading at the Randolph County Public Library on Thursday, June 28.
Check the Events Page for details and links about the "Poetry of Conservation."
